CPG
Consumer packaged goods (CPG) are products that are used daily by the average consumer. CPGs are used and consumed on a regular basis and therefore typically require replacement or replenishment often. They typically have short lifespans and are intended to be used quickly. Unlike durable goods, like a car, which are intended to last several years for extended use. "CPG" and "retail" are often used side-by-side or even interchangeably in certain contexts because CPGs are the products sold at retail outlets like Target.
